Trinity Racing Concepts Relocates
Headquarters to Club Auto Sport

Premier provider of racing simulators will also set up side-by-side units in clubhouse and lounge for the ultimate sim racing experience

San Jose, Calif., October 21, 2008 — The 30-something executive, CEO of a well-known high technology company, was holding nothing back. Accelerating out of a turn at the famed Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, the young driver attacked the course at an astonishing speed. Just ahead of him was the CEO of a rival technology firm. But the younger driver was closing fast, and when his rival elected to go low into turn 11, the young CEO knew this was his last chance to pass him on the high side and win the race. With a touch of his brake and a quick downshift, he tried to rewrite the laws of physics that were keeping him in contact with the asphalt ribbon. But it was not to be, and as he slid wide and flipped over the wall, the horizon was suddenly tumbling, and he knew his time had come…

…to start over! He conceded defeat to the other CEO, of course. But he immediately challenged the executive to another round of ultra-realistic simulated (sim) racing at the much talked-about Club Auto Sport car condominiums and club located at 521 Charcot Avenue in San Jose.

The two executives were enjoying side-by-side racing simulators created by Trinity Racing Concepts, which utilizes state-of-the-art software and breathtaking simulation graphics to deliver the ultimate in car racing simulation products, services, and experiences. Trinity Racing is relocating its headquarters from Campbell to Club Auto Sport in North San Jose, and in the process is becoming the club’s official provider of sim racing entertainment for its members.

“We’re delighted to be part of a unique car condominium facility and club like Club Auto Sport,” said Jack Ulstad, CEO of the privately held company. “Club Auto Sport is fast becoming a center of automotive innovation in the West, and we felt this was the ideal location for Trinity. The visionary environment and creative energy at the club are a perfect fit for the one-of-a-kind experiences we strive to offer motor sports enthusiasts with our racing simulator products.’

The Club Auto Sport installation includes several of Trinity’s top-of-the-line Race Frames including authentic racing seats with an attached transducer that lets drivers’ bodies feel the road and engine, a custom force-feedback steering wheel and shifter, and a powerful PC and high-speed graphics card handling the photorealism of the selected track elements being displayed. And for fans of historic Grand Prix racing, Trinity’s exclusive Lotus 49 replica will be available for all Club Auto Sport members to drive.

Trinity Racing Concepts also has a mobile sim racing service that the company uses to take the racing experience directly to its corporate clients. “We have a lot of expertise developing and managing car- and race-themed events for company parties, trade shows, team-building activities, and promotional tours,” Ulstad commented. “Customers can choose from NASCAR, GT, F1, vintage Grand Prix, Sprint, Rally, street, or fantasy cars and events.”

“We are excited to enter a strategic alliance with Trinity Racing Concepts and have the company based at Club Auto Sport,” said Ralph Borelli, co-founder and co-managing partner of Club Auto Sports. “Trinity Racing will be able to readily test upgrades and future generations of their products using club members and guests. At the same time, our members will be able to enjoy the thrill of racing using their amazing simulators. We look forward to a long and productive relationship.”

Club Auto Sport car condominiums offer car collectors and other auto enthusiasts a safe and secure place to store and work on their cars. The exclusive club provides members an opportunity to socialize and participate in car-related events and activities for members, and concierge-arranged services—from scheduling maintenance to transporting cars—are available to save time for members. People who buy a condominium at Club Auto Sport also enjoy all the benefits of property ownership, from tax advantages to potential appreciation.
